Our goal is to holistically create an approach that provides a consistent client experience, which focuses on the relationship between the client and our firm. Our objective is to actively engage our clients in the process and to utilize a comprehensive approach to financial planning.
We recommend that clients meet with us four times throughout the year on a calendar basis. We truly believe that this ongoing process is the best step to take to help you plan for your goals, because as your life progresses, your dreams and goals may also change. Below is a brief description of what each meeting will entail.
We use what is called “The Bucket Approach” when we manage our clients’ investments. This is a methodology that allows us to address different needs for different stages of life. A “Bucket” is a term we refer to when we talk about what purpose a specific type of investment is for. For example, one bucket is could be for short-term gains with minimal risk so that you have income over the next few years. Another bucket could then be for 8-10 years with more of a 50/50 balance between risk and reward.
While there is no “standard” for how many buckets we use or for what time horizon each bucket is there to address, we do generally have multiple buckets to address a clients’ needs over the long term.
